Finally open for business

Good evening everyone.

I have actually been around Ghost a bit, reading posts of persons I followed over from other locales such as Medium, (what used to be) Twitter, Facebook, etc.  If it is good enough for Jessica Wildfire, it is good enough for me.

I actually set up this site over a year ago and was never really sure it would ever be ready for prime time, as I have left my html skills in the early 2000‘s and also wasn’t really sure if I was ready to blog again.

Yet, here we are. Still working on the site, but I can still put items on here as needed.

I don’t really claim expertise in much, but I do like to like to talk about music, politics, various current cultures, my life as an immigrant and writing.  I can’t guarantee that I won’t provide a silly hot take every once in a while, but I will do my best to keep my missives as correct as possible.

I will also post some personal stuff here as well, though I will keep it as general as I can for relational purposes, as well as to maintain my privacy and that of my family‘s.

My subscriber tier is set up to discourage trolls, haters, bots and the like.  I may loosen it based on the kind of traffic I get and suggestions I receive regarding control of my comment sections.  I have absolutely no illusions about ever making money on this platform.

Give it some time before subscribing, though.  On here and Substack, my other blogging space, I will need time to put out, among other things, my blogging philosophies and comment boundaries before I actually say something interesting.
