Spending an afternoon dissecting viral Dump essays and lies
Arguing with maggot - I mean MAGATs and discounting maggo - I mean MAGAT - ideology
It‘s laughable but brutal out there, but I am trying my best.
I am, frankly, a latecomer in terms of confronting Trump-supporters and their catatonic repetitions of FOTUS‘s-by-way-of-Muskrat‘s talking points. Up until recently, the only MAGAT I had an in-depth discussion with regarding Trump and his policies was my brother-in-law, and I only see him every 4 years or so, given how far I live from him.
Back during the first Trump administration, I tended to mostly avoid these miscreants online because it would require me to enter their space, which I did not wish to do, and besides, it was only going to be 4 years before all would be right with the world again and they would shove those opinions back into the holes from whence they came, right?
Hehehe…
I have lately been seeing friends online trying to understand all sides of some of these issues by entertaining the posts of some of the most hairbrained malarkey I have ever seen online. As a result, after some back and forth, I have starting blocking random persons on various social media networks who can’t provide a response to my posts other than „leftist media anti-Trump woke cabal trash“, and then get whiny when I make fun of their condescending and unsourced remarks.
You do you, homie. You just proved that you are no longer worthy of my time. Nor anyone else‘s. Sorry to waste yours.
It hurt my heart, however, to see someone who has been a fixture in my life since I was a child give in to some of these trashy, inhumane ideals. Granted, this person has always been conservative, but I still gasped in incredulousness in seeing that, as they slowly step towards the end of their life, they have fallen into the arms of Trump-nuttery to the point of cultism.
Again, this shouldn’t have been a surprise, given this person‘s lifelong stance on things.
Anyway, this person reposted the below missive on their socnet profile from another source the other day. It was originally formatted as a petition, which this person also signed (I have removed the petition part for obvious reasons). The urge to retort and aggressively counter these arguments on this person’s profile was awfully high, but I had to check myself in that:
- Again, this person is not young and despite my recent inclinations to the contrary, I was raised to respect my elders and will continue to do so.
- This person did not write this. This was a repost that this person happened to agree with, as this person happened to agree with a lot of the right wing propaganda that was posted on said person‘s profile.
Sigh…
I don’t know the person who initially put together this tome, so I wouldn’t have been able to counter him if I wanted to. So I will put in my two cents here.
I will bold his points and italicize my responses and try to the best of my ability to counter all of what has turned out to be bullshit spewed here.
Given the amount of people who „signed“ the petition, it appears that this rather moany self-aggrandizing post went viral on the socnet that I found it. Let’s see what we have here.

So that would be Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, Dump, Biden and Dump again.

Plenty of presidents were heavily scrutinized. Especially when they did, or allegedly did, bad things. The FIC and his spawn are OK with just being awful in plain sight. No one is supposed to say anything about it?

And here you are complaining about (with the exception of 2) people within the ages of 30 and 50 not being able to defend themselves against criticism. The oldest sons, in particular, have said some idiotic things online and deserved their ribbing.
If you are over 30, you should understand that just because you have privilege doesn’t mean that everyone will let you walk all over them. I am sure and/would hope that the president’s children understand this, even if you don’t.

We finally have a president who loves our country, our military & our police forces.

He also said he didn’t care about the economy. We‘ll see what happens during the inevitable clash between him and Muskrat.
If anyone had done these things to Barack Hussein Obama, the 100's of fake allegations, the name calling, the threats to his life, the fake dossier, etc., they would be facing criminal charges themselves!
